Our T-shirts are a treasure trove of children's favorite themes, including supercars. These include not only the cars they see every day, but also those that evoke much more emotion: fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, and off-road vehicles. If your child, like us, is a fan of four wheels, they'll surely love learning the "childishly simple" secrets of drawing them.
Fire truck: step-by-step art project
How to draw a fire truck?
Creating an engaging illustration doesn't have to be limited to drawing or painting. Mix techniques like cut-out, drawing, or collage to develop your child's creativity and imagination and achieve original artistic effects.
From red paper, cut out a rectangle and a square with sides approximately half the length of the rectangle . The square will serve as the front of the vehicle. Cut out a window opening, a front wheel opening, and a hood opening. Cut out a trapezoid from the rectangle and create a wheel opening. Glue both car pieces to the white sheet of paper.
Draw circles with a black marker. Extending and tilting them will create a sense of movement, making the illustration more dynamic.
From scraps of red paper, cut out the centers of the circles and a lamp. Using a black marker, draw short lines around the lamp to represent light, and the letters "Eh! O!" to represent the sound of a fire engine siren. This will teach your child how to represent light and sound effects in pictures, something that isn't always "visible."
Finally, draw a ladder and a pattern on the vehicle's trailer and... the fire department is alive!
The image is almost ready. All we need to do is add the action: the flames! Cut out flames from red, orange, and yellow paper and decorate the drawing with them .
