If your child enjoys travels, both small and large, it's worth equipping them with the right travel accessories. A little explorer won't be complete without binoculars, which will allow them to focus on treasures at home and in the yard. You can make this adorable toy for toddlers in literally five minutes! Choose a theme (we chose a jungle) and decorate as you wish – anything goes. Finally, put on some comfortable shoes, head outside together, and set off on an adventure – with these binoculars, you're sure to discover something. ;)

  • Rolls, e.g. toilet paper rolls
  • Decorative, colored or crepe paper
  • String or ribbon
  • Any accessories to decorate the binoculars, e.g. stickers, stamps, sequins.
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Execution

Cover each roll with decorative paper. Decorate the edge with metallic tape.

Glue both rolls together to form the shape of binoculars.

Measure the appropriate length of string or ribbon and glue it to the sides of the binoculars.

Decorate your binoculars with any accessories you like!
