The easiest way to spark an interest in nature is through group outings. Bike rides, walks to the park, or weekends out of town are sure to appeal to children. National and landscape parks, lakes, rivers, or a nearby meadow – each of these places will allow your little one to connect with nature, develop their imagination, and simply marvel at the beauty of their surroundings. Playing in nature reduces stress, improves well-being, and strengthens immunity. Here are our ideas for an active and inspiring afternoon or weekend. Celebrate nature and the spirit of play!

Action exploration
Expeditions to the surrounding meadows and forests will undoubtedly bring children much joy. Time spent outdoors, surrounded by lush vegetation, will allow them to unwind and expand their knowledge of the world. With a bit of luck, they might even encounter wild animals. In the meadow, we can try collecting wildflowers and creating bouquets. Let's also try searching for a four-leaf clover together – perhaps someone will find this lucky plant? You can take your collection home, dry it, and create a herbarium or frame it together. In the forest, however, we have a few more options. Here, the terrain is perfect for a game of scavenger hunt using pine cones, trees, and sticks. These can be used to create clues for the tracking group. On the way back, it's worth trying a short story about the secrets of the forest – what acorns and pine cones are, how to distinguish edible mushrooms from poisonous ones, and how to avoid disturbing animals unnecessarily. You can also pretend to be superheroes and pick up the rubbish lying along the path and then sort it together.

The weather is not an obstacle
Often, fearing for our children's health, we refrain from going out in the rain. And yet, there's no greater joy than jumping through puddles! Perhaps parents will awaken their inner child and compete with their children in a little competition? Don't rob your child of this joy and let them have a little fun. Grab a raincoat and wellies, and you'll definitely stay dry. After the rain, look for a rainbow; maybe you'll even spot one? And even in a strong wind, you can safely go for a walk in the forest. Its force isn't as noticeable there because of the dense growth of trees. For added protection, wear hoodies and hats. Prepared, set off on an adventure filled with excitement!
