Birthdays are a special occasion for children and a significant challenge for parents, especially when the party is held at home. I spend my daily time providing creative entertainment for three lively boys, and I'm happy to share with you five tried-and-true ideas for entertaining your child's birthday party at home. And this list is just the beginning – the only limit is your imagination!

Birthday Games: Movement is Great Fun!
Regardless of the birthday boy's age, start the party with some movement. To achieve this, ensure appropriate attire that won't restrict movement, such as sweatpants and T-shirts . A good attraction for a birthday party at home is the game Twister . There are no age restrictions, and the rules are so simple that even preschoolers can understand them. But be careful – understanding this game is one thing, and not falling off the board, where your feet and arms get confused, is another. Twister, of course, isn't the only movement game you can suggest. Transforming the room into a disco, blasting your kids' favorite hits, is also a great idea.
Creative games for a child's birthday at home
Plasticine, paints, kinetic sand, plaster, salt dough, slime – transform your home into a creative studio on this special day . You can give the birthday person freedom to use any techniques and artistic materials, or invite participants to collaborate on a themed work of art. The theme could be birthday, but it could also be a self-portrait! This will be a fun challenge for both children and adults.

A crazy photo session, or unusual ideas for birthday parties at home
From the bottom of your closet, pull out vintage hats, fun glasses, ornaments, and accessories (the crazier, the better), and from the children's room, firefighter, policeman, princess, or fairy costumes and accessories—these are must-haves for your next birthday party at home. You can also choose a theme for your at-home birthday party based on your family's interests. For this purpose, prepare clothes with, for example, a football motif.
Suggest a group photo session in various costumes and with fun signs or inscriptions printed on colorful cardboard (you can create them together!). Fun is guaranteed, and the photos will be a priceless souvenir of this special day.

Time for gifts – new toys are on the move!
Unwrapping presents is every birthday person's favorite moment. It's worth ensuring the toy is unique and engaging, not just for a brief moment during the birthday party , but for years to come. The Endo Teddy Bear and his house are a perfect gift idea. Putting the accessories together and providing countless play options will be a joy for both children and adults. Charades – classic games for a child's birthday at home
Birthday activities at home don't have to be complicated ; it's worth sticking to tried-and-true games familiar to both adults and children. You can divide your household into teams and encourage them to play a point-and-draw version of a charade. But be careful – when creating team slogans, consider the age and abilities of the participants. Children can point and draw familiar cartoons or animals, but not, for example, movie titles, books, or proverbs (as in the adult version).
A birthday party at home can be just as enjoyable as one held in a playroom or with a professional entertainer. The most important thing is that it's filled with fun activities.
