Homemade decorations adorn your home with a double dose of Christmas power. The more work and dedication you put into them, the greater the satisfaction with the final result. A porcelain garland will be a beautiful Christmas accent in your interior. Watch a detailed tutorial on how to make such a garland.
  • 1 scoop of cornstarch
  • 1 scoop of baking soda
  • 1 measure of water

STEP 1 - Recipe for porcelain mass

Pour the dry ingredients—cornstarch and baking soda—into a bowl and mix. Then add a measuring cup of water and mix thoroughly. The mixture should be smooth and lump-free. Once the mixture is ready, transfer it to a pot and cook over low heat until it thickens.

When the mixture begins to pull away from the sides of the pan, remove it and let it cool. Then knead for a few minutes.

Step 2 - cut out the stars

Once the porcelain mass is ready, it's time to start rolling it out. Then, cut out any shape from the mass. It's best to use cookie cutters for this.

Step 3 - porcelain garland

Time for the finishing touches. Using a straw, create holes for the string. Then, thread jute or other decorative twine through them. And you're done! You can hang the garland on a door, by a window, over a fireplace, or decorate a Christmas tree with it.
