Drawing a fox - step by step
A ginger fox is making mischief in the forest and admiring the Fern Flower. This adorable little one has graced our girls' T-shirts and dresses from the Fern Flower collection this season. All it takes is a few lines and a little paint to create this charming illustration.
"Fern Flower" Collection 104-128 134-164How to draw a fox?
- Using a pencil, we draw the shape of the fox – the head is made up of two overlapping trapezoids. We add ears to the top of the head.
- Below the head we draw a circle - this will be the fox's belly - we connect it to the head.
- We draw a triangular tail on the side of the body.
- We'll create the nose by drawing two diagonal lines toward the center of the muzzle. Start at the edges of the head, slightly below the ears, and connect them with a black dot in the center. Draw the muzzle below the nose. We complete the look with eyes. Our fox is sleepy and has closed eyes, but yours might be open or blinking with one.
- We outline the fox's contours with a black marker - check our video to see which ones we skip.
- We color the fox with orange paint - leaving the lower part of the muzzle and the tip of the tail.
- We can paint rosy cheeks with light pink paint or cut them out of colored paper.
- To make the fox feel at home, cut down some beautiful green trees for him.
