Blooming paper flowers - materials needed:

This creative activity with your child at home starts with simple materials you probably already have on hand. When paper flowers come into contact with water, the capillaries in the paper begin to work, drawing in water and causing the curled petals to straighten. This fascinating phenomenon can be a starting point for conversations about nature, plants, and life processes.

But that's not the end of our creative fun with your child! To further enhance the experience, we can add a few extra elements. For example, children can experiment with different flower coloring and decorating techniques, creating unique patterns and visual effects.
