Easter is a great opportunity to prepare sweet surprises for our little ones from the Easter Bunny. This is a super fun activity, and all you need is your favorite candy and a basket to collect the treats. If you don't have one, don't worry. Our Easter candy bag is so quick, you won't even notice when you've created these adorable bags. Check out how to make them!

To make one bag you need:

  • 3 paper plates in one color
  • Stapler
  • Ribbon or decorative string
  • Fineliner
  • Pink paint or crayon
  • Scissors
  • Decorations, e.g. artificial flowers, ribbons

Step 1 - We make the front of the bag - the head and ears of the hare

One of the plates will serve as the bunny's head, which will also serve as the front of our Easter bag. The first step is to add bunny ears. To do this, take another plate and draw ears on opposite sides of the plate. One ear should take up about 1/3 of the plate.

The shape of the paper plate will create a nice curved "hare ears." After cutting out the ears, staple them to the entire plate in the appropriate place.

Step 2 - Draw the bunny's face

Once the ears are done, we can move on to drawing the rabbit's face. Create it according to your own design or take inspiration from our handbags. You can draw the eyes and nose with a black fineliner, and the blush with pink paint or a crayon.

Step 3 - We create a pocket for the bunny's treats

It's time to complete the bag's construction. To do this, we need to cut out a pocket, which we'll attach to the other side of the bunny face. From the third plate, we cut out a moon-shaped pocket and then staple it to the front of the bag.

Step 4 - Making a shoulder strap for the Easter bag

Our bag won't be functional if we can't wear it while hunting for Easter treats. Let's fix this by adding a stylish strap. Use a hole punch to make holes for the strap, then thread a length of ribbon or elegant string through the holes.

Step 5 - Decorating the bags

All that's left is to decorate our bags as you wish. Add any accessories you like: artificial flowers, glitter, bows, Easter foam eggs, and fluffy chicks.

Time to play with the bunny and find all the sweets he left behind! Happy hunting!
