How to make a Christmas crepe paper garland

Step 1 - Cut the crepe paper

Cut two strips across the crepe paper roll (you can use two shades of crepe paper). Unroll them and then fold them several times to the desired length.

Step 2 - Forming the Christmas tree

The twisted top of the tassel should form a loop through which we'll thread the string. Cut the strands from the other side, the bottom of the tree, to form separate pieces.

Step 3 - Decorating the Christmas tree

Cut out stars from gold or yellow colored paper. You can use a small star-shaped gingerbread cookie cutter to trace the shape.

Cut out circles from red paper. Then, glue all the shapes onto the Christmas tree – the stars to the top of the crepe paper tree and the red circles, or baubles, to individual strips of crepe paper.

Step 4 - Creating a garland

Thread all the elements through the string. You can use a needle to help. Alternate crepe paper Christmas trees and white pom-poms, or snowballs, are placed on the garland.

We hang the finished garland on the wall.
