On a bike

A bear rides a bike. Bats follow the bear, and bats follow in tandem. Two deer ride along. And behind them, an owl flies, a wolf, a hedgehog, and two frogs. Where are you going? A duck cries, flying past the bat: "Shopping," "On vacation," "To a honey tasting," "To a juggling competition," "And to a yodeling concert." It's more fun to travel in a group. Come with us, there's plenty of room. So a duck boldly flies down to the trunk of the bat: "I'm going with you then, Let's go camping in the Caucasus, Let's go quickly to Warsaw, I hear there's an interesting castle there. Let's go to the mountains, let's go to the forest. Somewhere we haven't been before." Author: Dominika Zielińska

Bear

Ladies and gentlemen, here's a teddy bear. The bear is very well behaved today. He'd be happy to give you his paw. He doesn't want to give it to you? That's a shame. Author: Jan Brzechwa

The Bear's Dream

The bear put on his brown pajamas, covered himself with a warm bear skin, and is fast asleep. He now dreams of fragrant linden trees, meadow herbs, buzzing bees, and honey. Author: Wanda Chotomska

Bear's Winter

It was winter, white everywhere Nothing would have happened If the old pine and beech hadn't crashed into the ground with a bang They made such a noise that they woke up the bear The bear came out of his den angry and showed his sharp fangs "Who wakes me up in the middle of winter? We'll chase the robber away immediately" And he looked around the forest And his roar carried far away A dormouse came out of its den And twisted its sleeping face "Quiet!" "Let me sleep!" The badger had to get up. He stamped his foot cruelly in the viper's hole. The ceiling roared. A viper in a warm hat emerged. A hamster in a jacket and eared hat. A frog made of mud, a hedgehog from under the leaves. Everyone was full of hatred. The chaos became quite big. When the animals arose. Then white snowflakes fell from the sky. They fell on their little noses. On their paws and fur. A great amount of fluff fell. Although the frost was raging. Their hearts warmed. The hedgehog timidly asked the viper if he wanted a scarf around his neck. The badger brought cups from the hole. Full of warm, healthy soup. The sleeping marmot found a sled from somewhere before he fell asleep again. Even the bear brightened up when he dusted his nose with snowflakes. Then everyone, until morning, built a snowman together. Everyone had a happy face. That they had experienced a beautiful winter. Author: Dominika Zielińska

Lynx

"Come to me sometime," Rysia told the children. "I got a teddy bear from my father, who does somersaults and dances to the music, sips honey, purrs and cries..." "Sips honey? That's quite impossible! Only living forest bears do that..." "If anyone doesn't believe it, they can see for themselves when they come to visit us on Sunday!" So four little guests came to Rysia. "Where's Teddy Bear?" they exclaimed, full of curiosity. Rysia looked at them and laughed secretly: "What Teddy Bear are you talking about, excuse me? Or my old one with the head missing? Because I really don't know, I swear!" "You told me when you were at our house, that you had a Teddy Bear that no one ever dreamed of, who sips honey and dances to the music," all four children exclaimed together. "Me? – the liar lynx is very surprised – Such a lie is not like me at all! I was telling you about Teddy bear and honey? You must have fallen on your heads in the garden!..." That's how this little liar lied to her friends. First, and then she laughed at them! Author: Magdalena Samozwaniec

In the world of teddy bears

Who will hug me on a dark night? Who has the power to comfort me? Who won't betray my secrets? Who will advise me in my time of need? My little friend, the Teddy Bear, who chases away all fears. Monsters don't scare us, because when I fall asleep with my teddy bear, instead of fears, I dream of a world where teddy bears and children experience hundreds of adventures, fly into space, know magic, sail on a pirate ship, heads held high, proud faces, discover new wonders, and don't know the word "boredom." And when the sun rises in the morning, I run with my teddy bear for breakfast. Mom asks, "What's going on today? Did you dream about being in a teddy bear's world?" I tell her, thrilled. Mom listens, smiling. She, too, would like to spend some time in a teddy bear's world. Author: Dominika Zielińska
